ingredients & research
key ingredients:
Squalane – A super nice and stable oily liquid that occurs naturally in the sebum of the human skin. It's a superb moisturizer making the skin silky smooth, without being heavy or greasy. It's pretty much compatible with all skin types and skin conditions, incl. acne-prone skin.
Lipids (Jojoba Oil/Macadamia Seed Oil Esters, Phytosteryl Macadamiate, Phytosterols, Squalene) – Jojoba, macadamia and olive oil-derived, patented lipid mixture that mimics the surface lipid composition of healthy, young adult skin. Used at 3%, it is clinically proven to help barrier repair and skin hydration. It works in synergy with Ceramide 2.
Ceramide 2 – Also known as Ceramide NG, is one of the 9 types of ceramides that can be found naturally in the upper layer of the skin. Ceramides are super important molecules in keeping the barrier healthy and the skin hydrated.
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (standardized to 90% polyphenols) - Green tea polyphenols are one of the most researched natural ingredients proven to have potent antioxidant, UV protecting and soothing properties.
Bisabolol + Allantoin - Two classic skincare ingredients known for their skin soothing abilities.

I've had problems all winter with dry, flaky skin (even though my skin is usually oily). I've tried many other creams, which either were not occlusive enough or caused spots. Within a week of using the Happier Barrier cream, the dry patches have cleared up. It has a beautiful texture - it feels light and is easily absorbed, but is also wonderfully soothing and hydrating. I highly recommend it, and would even suggest that people with oily skin give it a try.
This is a fantastic cream. It is not sticky or greasy. It is so moisturising without feeling heavy. Feels very velvety.
This company is excellent to deal with. Bang on time. No fuss. I would highly recommend them. Fantastic to finally find a European based company that make great products.
I was so excited when I saw your brand new launches, because I am a big fan of G&G. I had high expectations to begin with but this cream goes beyond those. How did you achieve a nourishing barrier cream that feels so so hydrating on the skin at the same time? It hits exactly the right spot for me in terms of texture, feel on the skin. But most surprised I am about the feeling of long lasting hydration. Have tried so many creams but this is the first one I encounter that achieves that. I am really loving this cream. I can already tell this will become on of my HG products. Thank you so much! Greetings from Estonia
Looks like my shipment was lost in transit and have been unable to coordinate a replacement with customer service. Was really excited to learn about this brand and was optimistic, but to be out all my money with no product has been such a disappointment.
I have been using your products for a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin (I am 43), and the quality of your products has truly impressed me. Thank you for offering such high-quality skincare at affordable prices. Highly recommended!
