ingredients & research
key ingredients:
Glycerin - A natural, water-binding moisturizer that’s also in our skin. It is the gold standard, most proven humectant that goes beyond simple hydration. It keeps the skin lipids between our skin cells in a healthy (liquid crystal) state, protects against irritation, and helps to restore the barrier. 5% of Glycerin counts as a medium amount, ideal for combination-oily skin.
Ectoin - An amazing, all-around skin protectant. This well-researched, multi-functional active has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, pollution & light protecting, skin hydrating, barrier repairing as well as anti-aging properties.
Isosorbide Dicaprylate - A modern skin hydrator and barrier builder molecule that works particularly well with Glycerin. It is known to upregulate Aquaporin-3, the important water & glycerin channels in the epidermis.
Xylitylglucoside + Anhydroxylitol + Xylitol – A sugar based humectant trio that works in synergy with glycerin to increase the skin’s water-binding capacity and strengthen the skin barrier.
Bisabolol + Allantoin - Two classic skincare ingredients known for their skin soothing abilities.

I have only just used this today, but I cannot believe that my skin seems to love this! I have mild rosacea and just generally sensitive skin. I'm so happy to have found a moisturizer that doesn't have niacinamide in it either! Really happy with this so far.
Advertised for normal/combination/oily skin and indeed it is a light moisturizer. I could try it again during summer but now during winter time it's just not enough. The second issue I had is that unfortunately this one rolls on my skin even when applied alone and with nothing on top. Too bad!
So now I'm using it as a hand cream, in which it does a decent job. It takes a moment to adsorb, leaves a small sticky residue and feels very light.
This product is amazing. It's a nice and hydrating without clogging the skin. It does not irritate my acne at all but instead soothes my irritated skin and has been saving me this winter. 100% will order again.
I think I found my holy grail moisturizer. Been using for months now and my dry, sensitive, reactive, acne prone skin loves it. It's very hard to find a lightweight moisturizer that helps my skin feel hydrated without clogging my pores. Products with shea butter, waxes and balms *are moisturizing but they often congest my skin. The gel cream formula of Hydration Station is the best of both worlds. Thank you Geek & Gorgeous for not only creating this product but making it so affordable.
Without doubt, I will repeat. Feels great on skin en leaves a fantastic glow, specially after a vitamin C serum. For me, price-quality the best moisturizer.
